Yeah, it's one government agency pulling a sting on another, but it doesn't make me feel any safer, or for that matter, more confident in the NRC's ability to do their job. Of course, you know someone (probably more then one someone) should be getting their ass nailed to the wall over this one.

And also Bush is telling people in his office, they're above the law to testify and to ignore subponeas.

See, it's kinda like that one scene from "Broken Arrow" where one of the characters says "I don't know what worries me more. The fact that we lost a nuclear weapon, or that we have a term for loosing a nuclear weapon." (I'm paraphrasing)

So, I don't know what worries me more, the fact that it's so easy to spoof the NRC, or that it took this long since 9/11 for anyone to check whether it's this easy to spoof the NRC. Because, you know, the policy should have been ratcheted up immediately after 9/11 and not unpuckered since.
