Vanilla ice cream. It's an important distinction. It does not taste right if you use other flavors.

That being said, I have the disturbing desire to try it with mint ice cream.

ohhhhhhh yuk

i hate spiders...
do you guys call them spiders too? when we put a scoop of ice cream in a soft drink (soda) we call it a spider. don't know why, really...

my nan used to make them for me, and i wish i liked them because fizzy drink and ice cream are two of my favourite things but together they just don't work for me :-(
