[wrestling] Well, damn

Sabu has been released from WWE.
Sandman is probably going to be released soon too.
Rob Van Dam's contract runs out within the next couple months.

Looks like TNA is going to be hiring some ex-ECW wrestlers.

It's sad that the only remnants of the original ECW will be Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney, and the announce team.

What's worse, I feel, is that Heyman was the scapegoat for December to Forget. I assume Stephanie will be pleased when ECW is gone.

No kidding. It seems to be a case of "it wasn't my idea, so it sucks", only replace my with Steph, HHH, Shane or Vince and you get the idea...

I'm wondering what the point of ECW is right now. I mean, if the plan was to drive it into the ground so that the name is pretty much tarnished forever... well, WWE has done that.

Vince is the ECW champion? Check.
Firing all the people who made ECW in the first place? Check.

What's left? For Mick Foley to show up on ECW and spit on the remaining originals?

Frankly, ECW should be dropped and the wrestlers on it should be reassigned to one of the other two brands or let out of their contracts. Furthermore, a new position needs to be created for WWE.

Every time someone, yes, even Vince, comes up with a stupid idea... I mean, bone-fucking stupid, this person would bitch-slap them.

Vince: Hey I think I should be champion of ECW.
Bitch-slapper: And that's my cue.
Vince: Hey, what are you doing?

LOL First of all I totally agree with the bitchslap position. I do know that Van Dam's last match is, more than likely summerslam. I think the only purpose that ecw is serving at the moment is to see how certain people are goign to look on tv before moving them around. If it's going to be the training ground show (Deep south wrestling with better produciton value) then can it at least have a storyline for pete's sake?! I also think that it's almost time to move Thorn to Raw. but that's my.02
