FOX News: Bringing you all the news (that doesn't reflect badly on the Bush Administration)

Okay, so I'm waiting on my food order, and watching the TV that is on in the place and what's on? FOX News.

What are they showing? A horse, stuck in a ditch, in Texas.

Right. Because there's nothing else going on in the world today.

Nope. Pretty damn dull. And now, back to a horse in a ditch.

(Note: I don't really know if the horse was in a ditch, or what. I was too busy screaming profanities at the inanity of focusing on a goddamn horse while actual news isn't being covered.)

And of course, they're probably not going to cover this.

Well, it was partly because after several minutes of covering the trials and tribulations of the horse, the top of the half-hour came and they said "And here's the top news stories" and briefly mentioned the bombing of the Iraq parliament, and a kidnapping case, and something else....

AND THEN WENT BACK TO THE HORSE.

I think I figured it out.

You, maybe even at a subconscious level, were EXPECTING NEWS from a network/cable 24 Hour news channel.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha... That's stupid. Only news on TV these days is on the Weather Channel, that is when they're not running some *special* based on An Inconvenient Truth.

See, all the REAL news you found came off the internet based off of the source of the material. You had the truth all along. Quit expecting NEWS on TV, it doesn't happen, it's a fairey tale. Yea, they SAY they're news, but people can SAY anything. Like Bush saying he wants to control illegal immegration, or Gore saying we're all going to start catching fire in a few years.

It was easy to see when the end of news on TV came. When the news people start reporting about the other news people, someone call the coroner.

And this is one of the reasons I like being outside the US. Here in the UK we actual real news on the TV, not jsut fluff.
