Yes, you can fall off the edge of the world. You fall really far. Then you die.
Fel Reavers are big. And they will squish you.
Don't be a fool. Take the flight point. Don't try and ride past the Pit Commander.
It is really easy to start getting gear through quests that, unless you have complete Tier 2 or Tier 3, you will be using immediately. (There is an exceptionally easy quest... like 5-10 minutes if the place is crowded, that got a rare chestpiece that has +22 Str, +22 Agi, and +22 Sta. I replaced my Primal Batskin Tunic at once.)
Some demons die really easy, considering how big they are. Do not try this with Fel Reavers. (Okay, they're not demons, but they're made by demons.)
Don't expect to gather any herbs or ore in the Outlands unless it spawns right under your feet. There are that many people running around.
Can't leave gnomes alone. See, my main is a Tauren and there is something unsettling about being nuked into a pile of ash by something you would typically have to scrape off of your boots.
And let's not forget the stupid 'million gnome march' a year or so back that brought the server I play on to a screaching halt.

Hell in the BElf newbie zones I had to resort to ore stealing while the guy that was mining got jumped by a mob. It's that crowded.

I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one who fell off the world. >.>

Yes, I am intending to suicide my character off the edge of the world for no reason... other then a video record of such.
