In the red corner, with bright eyes and a bushy tail, and weighing in at less then a pound, The Squirrel!

In the very very black corner, charging in at a whole shitload of volts, the Transformer near the apartment building!

But, alas, the squirrel took a dive in round one, and that's why I (and the rest of the building) didn't have power for an hour and a half.

hehe... while watching the SCE&G guys repair/replace parts on the transformer that got taken out by Mssr. Squirrel, I actually quoted that...

At least the SCE&G guys are relatively quick on their work.

We had power lines buried where I work and a couple of months ago, they got around to hooking them up. Well, the SCE&G guys, whenever they had something to do, it was "zip-zwop" it's done. Quick. It was waiting on the six freaking stoges in electrician costume to do anything that took freaking forever.
