Sounds lot like it's been here for past 2 weeks or so. And living next to the sea we don't usually get this much humidity ever. So painful and I think it's rained maybe 3 times all summer.
For years, I've heard the expression "It's not the heat, it's the humidity." I never really understood it until this year.
I mean, I've lived in this state most of my life, and in the same city for the last several years, and I can't recall it being this humid for this long, ever...
The times I've been in London for summer months, I sure did learn about the humidity. It's not gotten to that same point here but humidity has been more than 80% some days past week. Heat is bad, humidity is like "I'm just gonna sit here on the couch and rot".
