From the shows I watched over the weekend

1) Okay, come on... sic the Wraith on the Ori and Priors and get it over with. How goddamned ridiculous and drawn out is this going to get anyway? Mind you, Atlantis at least looks interesting, what with the humanified Wraith and all...

2) There needs to be a Venture Brothers RPG. Actually, you could probably get away with using GURPS or HERO System and a GM with a warped mind. Also, if there is not a Venture Brothers drinking game, someone needs to come up with one.

3) Who greenlighted some of the new shows on Cartoon Network? Sheesh. Well, at least the animation isn't ass ugly.

4) Blade: the Series... it blows. Oh my god, does it blow. It's not as bad as Vampire 90210 (or whatever the hell that piece of shit from the better part of a decade ago was called), but I don't see it going past one season.

5) Psych. Damned funny. And USA seems to be doing decently with a lot more of it's programming. Between that, Monk, and the Dead Zone, they actually have shows worth watching. (Oh yes, and of course, WWE RAW is on there too.)

And of course, there was the obligatory pirate show on the History Channel. Yeah, they're following the trend too. Can't says as I blame them.

4) you mean Kindred: the Mistake, or some other Vampire 90210? (I can't remember what it was actually called)

there are days I miss cable TV. today is not one of them ;)

If that's the one where Vampires could go out in sunlight, but only as long as they'd fed recently, all the Nosferatu were bald, and every character was a hackneyed stereotype, then, yes.

I don't miss that either.

Yep, that was it. I remember watching it with a few people as we built WoD characters for the show's characters as we saw them and their powers.

I consider that show the TV equivalent of a Uwe Boll movie. It exists only to make hack TV producers feel better.
