I cannot make this shit up

So, these guys break into a house to steal stuff, the homeowner interrupts them, the homeowner gets shot and killed, and one of intruders is trying to claim a "Stand Your Ground" defense. And it's in front of the SC Supreme Court.

Apparently, they're hearing this argument on procedural grounds, not the actual merits of the defense claim, but still...

What's that?

The Koch brothers are being manipulative assholes? Who ever would have guessed?

Yeah, yeah, $34 grand a year puts you in the top 1% of the world in terms of income. What that means is there's a fuckton of really truly poor people IN THE WORLD. For example, the average monthly income in India is around $300. Compare that to the average monthly income in the U.S., where's it's over 10 times that.

But no, the Koch brothers, in their effort to fuck over poor people in this country (among other things, they want to get rid of the minimum wage, because it is "creating a culture of dependency"), are trying to pull the wool over people's eyes.

Because, apparently, them having $68 billion dollars is not still not enough; they want to have it all.
