Yet another politics post
Apr. 3rd, 2012 02:44 pmThe Wisconsin, Maryland, and District of Columbia Republican Primaries are today. Romney is expected to fairly beat Santorum in Wisconsin and Maryland, and since Santorum isn't even on the ballot in D.C., well....
Of course, once again, the polls could be wrong, and this almost certainly won't settle anything, even if Romney sweeps all three, because at this point, Paul is still fucking crazy, Gingrich seems to be in this for the fund-raising, and Santorum has pretty much resolved to stay in until the convention anyway. (All three are 'winner take all', at least according to Wikipedia, so if Romney does sweep all three, it will give him an even bigger lead in delegate totals. It would still put him nowhere near enough delegates to claim the nomination, but it would put him a fair piece closer.)
