If only this was a day off. But at least I get presents.

Romney won in Arizona (as expected) and managed to squeak out a victory in Michigan. As a result, it seems that Santorum is going "Oh shit, maybe we shouldn't try to alienate women voters." (Of course, he failed history when he mentioned the men and women who signed the Declaration of Independence... because no women signed it, but hey, he's backpedaling so fast right now, it's not even funny.)

The next stop in the "Oh fuck, will it ever end" Republican primary tour is Ohio, where, it must be said, Santorum has a decent lead in the polls. Of course, those polls are all from before Arizona and Michigan, and depending on which one you look at, Santorum has either as much as an 18 point advantage, or as little as a 7 point advantage. (Actually, one of the polls gave it to Gingrich by 1 point, but that one's from back in January.)

So, those poor bastards in Ohio are about to be subjected to a week's worth of political ads, explaining why they should vote for whoever, and why every other candidate is not really a conservative, and so forth.

I mean, it's punishment enough to have Cleveland... haven't they suffered enough?
