What this means for you: FUCK ALL. It's a straw poll/fundraiser, and since Rick Perry hadn't announced he was running until the day before the poll, he wasn't even an option to vote for. So it means even less then zero. Plus, Sarah Palin hasn't decided whether she's running yet, which makes it worth even less then that.
What this means for your cat: EVEN LESS. Cats don't vote, and they could give a fuckery who is running for the Republican nomination.
Does this give an edge to Bachmann? Sort of. No doubt she'll get a boost out of it, but in overall polls to date, Romney still places anywhere from 5 to 10 points ahead of her. Same with Ron Paul, who came in second. He'll get a bit of a boost, but he's generally polling behind Bachmann.
