Fun all around

Lost power for a bit today, as a transformer down the street decided to end it all, and in the process left a powerline draped across the street. No idea if this was another squirrel-assisted transformer death, but it wouldn't surprise me. In the summer, the usual banquet of leftover college food is thin, and the squirrels resort to all sorts of suicidal tendencies. One of the fuzzy bastards dashed out into traffic the other day, making it all the way across four lanes of active traffic. I didn't hang around to see if he managed the return trip.
