I was at the store a few minutes ago, and I saw something that puzzled me. So, of course, I made jokes about it.
Me: "Plain flavored yogurt. How do you know?"
Roommate: "What?"
Me: "When you eat it, how do you know it's plain flavored. What's your point of comparison?"
Roommate: *chuckles*
Me: *nomnomnom* "Mmmmm.... it's that wet cardboard taste! Authentic plain!"
(The same can be probably be said for unflavored oatmeal.)
- Later in the store.
Roommate: "Bread chips?"
Me: "What?"
Roommate: *points to item on shelf* "See?"
Me: "Okay, what about them?"
Roommate: "Who eats those? Who goes, 'This bread needs to be cut up into small pieces and left out until it gets hardened?'"
Me: "Beats me. It's not that weird a thing to eat, really."
Roommate: "Oh? What would you consider a weird thing to eat?"
Me: "Plain flavored yogurt."
