with their victories in the recent elections, the Republican party will look upon this as an opportunity to regain the trust of the citizenry, and not seek to tear down the President in smear campaigns.

Excuse me, I'm being told that Republicans are embellishing (read: outright lying) about the cost of Obama's upcoming trip to India, claiming that it's going to cost more per day for this trip then the cost per day of the ENTIRE Afghanistan war.
