There appears to be something going on at the statehouse grounds. I've seen several groups of people walking there carrying signs or posterboards.

Considering that the U.S. Senate is supposed to be voting today on the health care bill, I have my suspicions. I'm going to have to go check this out.

Edit: It turns out it's not a protest, but a demonstration for "Green Jobs". Considering that unemployment here in South Carolina is at 12%, I think we'd be happy if any jobs were created here.

Well, I'll be damned.

The Senate Democrats managed to get 60 votes to move health care legislation ahead.

It's going to start getting interesting after Thanksgiving.
