So, I use Photoshop at work. There's not a week that goes by where I'm not doing minor edits to remove redeye from a picture, or blocking out and editing text, or other relatively minor edits. I've used different filters to create customized artwork, or enhance something for a customer. All through that, I thought I wasn't too bad at using Photoshop. I'm not great at it, but I thought I had a decent level of skill.

Then, for lack of anything else to do tonight, I watched a bit of the live-streamed coloring of "Looking for Group" by Ryan Sohmer and Lar deSouza. (Well, obviously, it's Lar doing the coloring, not Ryan, but you see what I mean.)

Goddamn, this guy is good. I mean spooky good. Watching him work shows that (a) he knows his shit and (b) he's fast at it without losing any quality.

I want someone to explain why holding the trial of Khalid Sheik Mohammed in New York City is a bad idea without descending into wingnuttery.

Anyone?
