[WoW] Continued slapping of devs

So, a few days ago, I mentioned that the World of Warcraft "official response" (aka "fuck you") to Engineering had been posted. Since then, that thread has had over 2300 replies. Over 85,000 views. (That's replies and views on the WoW forums. I'm not going to pretend my LJ is anywhere near that popular.)

Of course, there's only been the one Blue response on the thread, which started the whole "bitchslap a dev" feeling... and Blizzard's "April Fools" joke? It's mount customizations (along the lines of barbershops for characters.) Between that and the "Nerf Engineering" achievement (yes, it's an actual achievement. It has to to with beating a Ulduar boss under certain conditions.), Engineers are just feeling the love.

*sigh*

I shouldn't let a game irk me this much.
