Okay, so in the wake of some of the Blackwater mercenaries employees going bugfuck into a crowd of Iraqis, killing 11 (wait, whoops, now it's 13 according to the Iraqis) civilians, the Iraqi panel in charge of the investigation has recommended that the 'security guards' involved face trial in Iraq and that Blackwater compensate the victims' families.
Also, the House has passed a bill that would make all private contractors in Iraq and other combat zones subject to criminal prosecution in U.S. courts for any crimes they commit. Senate Democrats are planning on introducing a similar piece of legislation.
And I see the Commander-guy vetoing it.
