The difference between FedEx and UPS would have been about $2.50. I decided to go with UPS. Boy, was that a mistake. Not a big mistake, on the level of calling out the wrong name during sex, but rather a "Wow, it takes them eight hours to drive 10 miles" mistake.
My RAM left the West Columbia distribution center at just before 5:30 a.m. today. It still has not arrived. Now, I'm not foolish enough to believe that I am the only person getting something delivered by UPS this morning, but come on guys... West Columbia is just over the river. I could walk there and not be horrible put out by the distance traveled.

RAM arrived.
RAM installed.
1 GB.
Can't wait to see how much easier WoW runs...
Update: Much, much easier. Very little lag in Ironforge (although it wasn't just my new RAM... a lot of people were remarking that the lag was way down), a lot quicker load time between characters, almost no slideshow effect when there are lots of toons on the screen.
