So, I've been up for about 24 hours now. Tuesdays are always wierd on my sleep schedule, as I get up early on Mondays to do any errands that need doing, plus there are the Monday evening TV shows I don't like missing (pro-wrestling, Stargate, Futurama, Family Guy). So I was up and moving around 3 p.m. on Tuesday. I was up until I had to be at work at 11 p.m. I was at work until almost 8 a.m. I've been screwing around on WoW today until recently, playing around with a couple of new macros.
I'm not tired.
It's kind of wierd. I mean, I should be tired. I haven't tried staying up for 24 hours in a row in a long time, not even intentionally. Hell, I only ever managed to stay up 48 hours in a row one time, and that was with the assistance of about 10 Jolt Colas on a 14 year-old's metabolism. I'm not as young as I used to be... you know, that's a damn silly phrase. I just realized that. Of course I'm not as young as I used to be. If I was, I'd have somehow halted the aging process. Since that hasn't happened....
Part of my brain is saying "Go watch The Usual Suspects. You've been meaning to watch it for days." Another part is saying "No, you're tired and you don't realize it. You don't want to fall asleep on the couch, and besides, you'll miss all the nuances of the movie." A third part of my brain is saying "Nuances? What nuances? You've seen the movie twenty times! You know how it goes!"
Ah well...
