It's Ray Charles weather....
Dec. 26th, 2004 08:08 amBaby, it's cold outside.
You think that would be a given in December, but earlier in the week, it got up to 70 degrees, so nothing can be taken for granted here.
Spent a good chunk of Christmas Day with my parents, "baby" brother Chris and brother Eric. Oh, yes, and the huge fucking dog they have. I hate that dog. I really do.
I am half-expecting a call from work this morning. You see, we were closed the night of Christmas Eve and all of Christmas Day, and the store re-opens in a little less then an hour. I, therefore, am expecting to get a call asking me to come down and explain what all the jobs are and what needs to be done. Because I only live two blocks from the store, you see, and can walk down there.
I may even do so, assuming they call. We'll see.
But now, breakfast. If I can find my pants, I might go to IHOP. If I get downstairs and it's really cold, I'll just microwave something.
Happy holidays and all that jazz.
Edit: Screw going to IHOP! It's not just cold, it's still raining, and there is a lot of ice on the ground. I do not need eggs and bacon so badly that I am going to break my ass getting to them.
