For some reason, my copy of Stopzilla is not working. I am back to getting the (^@)(&# pop-ups...

The hub (one of the computers in the apartment) is emitting a high-pitched whine. It gets rather annoying. It's not the speakers, because it doesn't have any, and besides which, I muted the sound. It's not, as far as I can tell, a fan bearing, because when it stops I can still hear the fan. (Also, when the computer is in "shut down" mode, the whine stops, the fan doesn't.)

It's only driving me slightly crazy.
