[WoW] The patch is here
And they've fucked up as many things for rogues as they've "fixed".
WTG, Blizzard. Just fucking continue to make Stealth even more worthless, and screw up one of our cooldown abilities as well.
Oh, but you did finally fix the Dodge tooltip so it no longer says we can dodge ranged attacks. It only took you 8 months to fix a line of text.

Vanish has gone from being an escape ability to a "lose aggro" ability, except it doesn't do that well either. Basically, if any sort of non-channeled spell was being cast at a Rogue who Vanishes, it can still land, do damage, and bring you right back out of Stealth. So much for that five-minute cooldown. Plus, there have already been reports of people being hit by melee attacks after Vanishing, and we're not talking about AOE melee attacks, but single-target ones, which brings them right back out of Stealth. Plus, Vanish doesn't seem to be dropping Rogues out of combat at all. Even in the worst pre-patch considerations, Rogues would go out of combat at least until the next combat pulse. Now? Not at all.
Relentless Strikes isn't always being applied, even if the combat log says it is.
Slice n' Dice still appears to be able to miss or be blocked, even though the patch notes said that was fixed. The failure rate seems to be a good bit lower, but when Blizzard says "We fixed it." and then it turns out that isn't the case... well... it upsets a lot of Rogues.
Improved Kick is now worse then normal Kick, as the 5 second silence of the same school of magic that was interrupted by Imp. Kick isn't there. Just the normal 2 sec. silence.
Distraction now turns the character model but doesn't change the facing, so you can technically Ambush someone in the face. Not really a "major" bug, but when it worked fine before the patch, and somehow Blizzard managed to fuck that up as well... you could say it's a bit irritating. Also, a Shaman's Lightning Shield was supposed to not go off from a Rogue using Distraction. It still does.
And while we're at it, let's just look at this little bit of "fuck you" to Rogues. Under the Druid patch notes: Ravage can no longer be dodged, parried or blocked.
Ravage is the Druid cat-form equivalent to Ambush. Except, of course, that Ambush can be dodged, because I've had it happen. Oh, and Ambush does less damage, because we have to use a Dagger with it, and a Druid can use anything. (Actually, I'm not entirely certain on that, but there is no weapon requirement on Ravage, where there is one on Ambush. And Ravage does 350% + 343 damage, while Ambush only does 250% + 290 damage. About the only ameliorating factor is that we Rogues are likely to have a higher crit chance.)

-Druids damage isn't decided by the weapon they are holding, so it won't make a difference if it's a stick or a dagger
-350% + 343 damage, Yes, and you can stun people, do it again, go back into stealth, do it again, and have an overall higher damage thing on that thing anyway.
