There is a MandelaMandala sand painting (I think I phrased that correctly) going on at the Russell House this week. It's being done by Buddhist monks.

How come I never saw this kind of thing go on in the many years I was a student there?

Well, hopefully, I'll be able to get some pictures.

Yeah, I realized soon after I posted that I probably spelled it wrong.

And the closing ceremonies aren't until early afternoon on Thursday. So if I can remember to grab my digital camera, I'll get some Wednesday "in progress" pictures and some Thursday "finished" pictures.

Not sure if the Buddhist monks will let me take pictures of them, but it never hurts to ask.
