[WoW] woohoo!

Made Honored with Stormpike Guards in World of Warcraft. Only took 3 (or 4?) AV runs. Of which, of course, the Alliance has won all four. Not for the Horde's lack of trying though. I would have to say that they have better leaders on their side for getting their members in AV to do what needs to be done. We, however, have crazy mothers who think that going for the Frostwolf Relief Hut five minutes into the raid is a perfectly valid strategy.

No, it didn't work. But it spooked the Horde enough where we were able to recover. And then, I guess some key Horde members of the raid quit the AV, because just like the other times I've been in there, the Horde just started falling apart. We captured several graveyards in succession, and gave Drek'thar the dirt nap he so richly deserves. I have 573 HKs today, plus over 3600 Bonus Honor. Yeah, Bonus Honor. I'm still probably only going to be a Sergeant Major, but you never know....

My boyfriend had thoughts of possibly going for Grand Marshall, but after having talked to some of the people who actually did, and with the changes coming out in 1.10, I think he's probably going to retire from PvP. I think he enjoyed it in the beginning, but at the highest lvls, the amount of time you have to spend grinding away for honor is insane.

Yeah, I have no illusions about ever making Grand Marshall. I would like to make Commander, though, as it seems it's going to be easier to get an epic mount cat faster that way then dropping off Runecloth in Darnassus. Of course, I only need a little under 300 more turn-ins in Darnassus, so maybe that will be easier...
