I've just seen an advertisement for "V for Vendetta".
Part of me wants to see this movie.
Part of me is saying "Hey, Alan Moore has said the movie script is imbecilic. Don't go see it."
Yet another part of me is saying "You never read the comic, so it's not like you have a comparison point."
And yet another part of me is saying "Well, get the damn comic and read it then. And then don't go see the movie."
A final part reminds me that I don't have a car, and couldn't go see the movie if I wanted to.
And it's less then $15 on Amazon....

Also, I think Alan Moore says that about most movies based on his stories. Not that he's wrong, just that he says it.
