Best Little Whorehouse in South Carolina gets busted.

Edit: It's not so much amusing that there was a whorehouse about 20-30 minutes drive from where I live. Crap, there's probably one closer that hasn't been busted yet. What's amusing is that it was such a slow news day in town, that this made the front page of the Sunday paper.

I never saw the point of making prostitution illegal. I quote (or rather, probably mis-quote) George Carlin when I say: Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal? Shit, I'd rather it was legal, and therefore regulated, at least in terms of health considerations.

Somewhere, a moral absolutist is screaming, and I don't care.

I mean, come on, sex for money? Oh, that never happens under any other terms, like buying dinner and a movie for a blind date that your brother's friend set up for you. I'd rather cops spent their time busting drug dealers and violent criminals then hookers and johns.

That's pretty much my position on the matter. Legalize it, regulate it and tax it. Imagine how much revenue would be generated by sex parlors.
