Pope snuffs it! Maybe.

News agencies are reporting that the Pope is indeed, toast. The Vatican isn't confirming it though (they won't take my calls any more). I have to say, today would be a bad day to kick off. No one would believe it until tomorrow.

I've seen a few reports, but nothing from reputable sources.

I don't think he's dead.

Yet.

Got to figure it can't be long. I read just a few minutes ago that his kidneys are supposed to be failing, and while I'm sure bunches of the faithful would leap at the chance to donate a kidney to the Pope, it's only one more sign of the end being near.

The man's what, 84? And being Pope has got to be a pretty stressful job...

Oh the irony...

The vatican speaks out against removing Shaivo's feeding tube...

And then the Pope gets one...

I'd half expected for the Pope to enter a persistant vegitative state...

then the church would have a pope, but not have a pope, and us non-catholics who think everyone should have just minded their own business about the whole Shaivo thing could have sat back and laughed...
