The mouse continues to freeze on the order of 10 times a day. It's mildly annoying while web-surfing, and a fucking pain in the ass when playing WoW.

I don't think it's the USB ports on the computer that are broken. I think it's the mouse. Damnit, I like that mouse. And the closest place that sells computer mice (i.e. within walking distance) either has the crappy cheap ones or the $70 extreme gamer types.

Feh.

Computer games are the killers of mice. I've killed a few during these years, it's all the damn click click click you must do all the time, and I even play more with mouse than from keyboard.

If it had just been the buttons of the mouse that were FUBAR'd I could easily understand it. But when the entire mouse freezes up, it's a little more odd.

Fixed now, though getting used to the new mouse is going to take some time.
