[cam-shit] This is not an IC post. I repeat, this is not an IC post.

Congrats to the Lancae Sanctum. You are the fuckwits of the new chronicle. (Actually, this is only directed to certain specific fuckwits, who seem to believe that possession of funky powers requires the use of funky powers regardless of the common sense of the issues.)

In other words, oh looky, we have the new Tremere.

Goddamnit.

As always, the CoC does not apply here. Feel free to join me in my rant and disgust.

That is the #1 reason I avoided them like the plague.

[identity profile] morinon.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 12:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it was them or Circle of the Crone. More likely them.

Ordo Dracul strikes me as least likely to fuck up.

Please...

These are cammies...

You think it possible for anything to not get fucked up?

Yes, but I think that OD's kewl powerz lend themselves actually more to KEEPING the masquerade than breaking it.

Exactly my point. While I am not planning on playing a member of the Ordo Dracul, their "funky kewl powerz" tend more towards aleveating aspects of the Curse, rather then, say turning a vampire into a lawnchair or raising corpses.

I had even odds of it being a member of Circle of the Crone or a Lancae Sanctum member causing the first big fuck-up, but it doesn't surprise me that it happened this quickly. (Actually, it surprised me a bit... I bet on one week in the deadpool.)

First Masquerade breach of the new chronicle belongs to the Lancea Sanctum.

Some fuckwit raised a corpse (Gift of Lazarus, presumably) in front of mortals.

::Nods::
Heard about that.
But why would Ordo Dracul have fewer fuckwits?

[identity profile] mithras.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Because none of the nifty OD powers can be used on anyone other than the person who has them.

None of them really causes a Masquerade breach.

And most of them are in the "always on" catagory, so it isn't something the player is going to show off anyway.

True, dat...
But all it takes is someone using Celerity in the wrong place.

[identity profile] mithras.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
True, but that's more of a clan fuckheadedness issue than a Covenant fuckheadedness issue.

Unless the Mekhet and Daeva in the OD all decide to bust out their Celerity all at once, I think it's a non-issue at this point.

[identity profile] martinhesselius.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
::Grin::
Could easily happen...
Celerity helps in Defense. ;)

[identity profile] mithras.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Right, but unless you're actually running at that speed, who can really tell? The opponent could just be a bad shot.

An ST might just go by what it says under the discipline's description...

You are SHITTING me.

Nope, he isn't.
