[cam-shite]

If I can ever find the camera-specific USB connector, I'll post some ICC pics.

The more I think about it, the more it seems that the new WoD Tzimisce should be a Nos bloodline rather then a Gangrel one. The Vicissitude connections (shapeshifting) is tenuous at best to Protean, and it seems to make more sense, to me at least, to have them over in the Nos camp.

Vigor, Obfuscate, Vicissitude (replacing Nightmare), and Animalism.

Vicissitude replaces Nightmare because instead of inflicting mental Nightmares on others, they are the stuff of nightmares incarnate.

I still have to work up exactly what I want the new Vicissitude to do, but I still plan on shying away from the Fleshcraft/Bonecraft cheese that had Vicissitude be one of the more powerful combat-Disciplines in the hands of the cheese-monger.

Hmmm... now you've got me interested.

some thoughts (no, not all are mutually compatiable):

1) Have much of it only work on yourself.
2) Have it work on others, but it takes time and possiably a lab (I.E. Biothaum)
3) figure out what the core concept of it is - the old school Vic got way too wierd once you got into the upper levels. Breath of the Dragon??

Just some quick off the top of my head thoughts. If you want acutal in depth help on this I am willing to lend brain cycles. I won't be playing one immeadiatly, but I love the clan and if the bloodline is put together well I may join once my primary is killed.

Well, I want it to be more of a self-shapeshifting. I had no problems with the fleshcraft/bonecraft being self only. I just don't want to see it be a "I fleshcraft his eyes shut permanently" as a combat tactic.

What I figure is that the first level should let the Tzimisce change his appearance. Now, it takes the third level of Obfuscate to mentally make yourself look like the "appropriate" person, but I figure since this will require (at first guess) Wits + Subterfuge to manipulate your physical features, with bonuses for having detailed photos (or whatever) to see who you need to look like. (In other words, you can't just activate the power and hope for the best. You have to have some idea of what you want to look like or you're not fooling anyone.)

Higher levels of the discipline, I figure, could let you shift a point from one physical stat to another for the length of a scene + 1 more point for every success. And, of course, you can't take a stat to 0. (Ex. Terry the Tzimisce has a Str 4, Dex 3, and Sta 4. He is trapped in an enclosed courtyard and the sun is rising fast. He needs to break down the only door into the manor. At this point, his Dex isn't doing him any good, so he attempts to Vicissitude his gracefulness into extra Strength. With 1 success, he can move a point of Dex to Str, with 2 successes, he can move two points. He can't move all three points of Dex, because that would take his Dex to 0.)

With that power, I'm looking at making it require a seperate roll/application to move different stats. So, you can (as an example) move Dex to Str with one use, and then move Con to more Str with another use. However, I can't really see this power letting you go over BP limits for stats, so it might be too weak of a power. I'll probably have to experiment with it a bit.

more thoughts last night:

Thier bloodline flaw is that their flesh takes on a magical property, we can deside the downside of that property later, but it allows Vic to be used on it.

This means that they can fleshcraft and bonecraft themselves and others of their line, but not other people.

It also means they can take parts of themselves off and make indipendent things (Slatshak and maybe even Vosht) out of them... but at great personal cost.

Say they can take amounts of flesh in 'negligable' and then incriments of Size. Yes, you can reduce yourself to Size 4 or lower by making things out of yourself. This however means that you are lowering your helath levels etc.

One of the powers allows you to grow flesh back up to your size, probably the first level power, at a rate of 10 blood per size incriment. Another power allows you to go up a number of sizes... this is the 'Horrid Form'.

How does that sound?

Ooooo.... I really like that idea... that they can create homonculi out of their own body... and Size alteration is a nice downside to creating such.... Hrm.... might have an idea for the mechanics of this.

This idea...

...is fascinating me more and more the more I see of it.

It's going to eventually be done by *somebody*. I'd like to see it done right and in a balanced manner the first time. If you'd like any help or input, I'm up for it, man.

Help? Input? A Jedi needs not these things. (And as I'm not a Jedi, help and input away!)
