Woohoo!
Things to celebrate:
1) My Mortal character has been approved at the Regional level to play in the Mage venue at ICC. (I think that was the last hurdle, but if it isn't, I'm sure
mierandra will beat me ever so lovingly over the head with the details that I have neglected. (BTW, thanks for the help.)
2) Jury duty is over. While, yes, this means that I do have to go back to work tomorrow, I have fulfilled my obligation to jury duty for the next couple of years (minimum). I therefore do not have to get up at (for me) insanely early hours to rush to the courthouse (and by rush I mean walk really fast). All in all, it was a learning experience though, and I'm sure I'll post what happened in a day or so. Maybe earlier.
3) I have found my digital camera. This may not seem like a major celebration point, but hey, I need that sucker at ICC, and when you live in an apartment as messy as mine, you lose all kinds of things. (My copies of the Draconomicon and Savage Species remain on the MIA list.)

All of the jury stayed around for the sentencing. Life in prison without the possibility of parole. He got this sentence due to sentencing guidelines and requirements and based on previous criminal activity.
