So, the case of the local mother who doesn't want to tell anyone where her kid is has gone to trial.

The kid in question, Amir Jennings, hasn't been seen by anyone since around last Thanksgiving, and the mother, Zinah Jennings has basically lied her ass off about where Amir is. Honestly, at this point, I'd have to think that Amir is either dead, or was sold to a shady adoption broker.

It is incredible that the defense would claim that, "Hey, it doesn't matter if she tells you where he is...it's not your business, she says it is all cool."

Right. Let's apply that line of shit logic to EVERY missing person case, shall we? I mean, might as well stop FILING them because anyone under suspicion could just claim, 'Hey, it's cool and none of your business."
