Restatement of the ground rules:

This is not a Camarilla Live-Journal. Sure, I talk about the Cam a lot here, but this is not part of the Camarilla. Therefore the Camarilla rules DO NOT APPLY. This means if you have a problem with what I say, then you should tell me. Not my CC, because she damn well doesn't care what I write here. Not the RC of the Southeast Region, because I'm pretty sure they don't even know I have a LJ. No, if you have a problem with what I write here, you fucking talk to me. If you don't have enough of a grasp of the English language to get that, don't even bother fucking posting here. If there was a way I could ban Anonymous people, I would... but Hell(tm), I don't know that much about LJ yet...

Now, what is causing this, you may ask? You see, one of the people on my Friends list, Grimjim, just got suspended from LiveJournal. Not exactly sure why, but it's probably Cam related, and from one of the aforementioned fucking cowards. No, I'm not naming names, because I honestly don't know. I also don't care. Because of all the things that this J. Random Coward could have been doing today, they decided that rather then ever have the possibility of having an open discussion with Grim, they would whine, cry, bitch and moan to the nice people who run LJ and get Grim's account pulled.

But sometime between 4 pm and 6pm, EST, Grim's LJ account got suspended. Considering this was pretty much at the same time as a couple of rants of his about his possibly being fucked over yet again with a suspension from the Cam and the permanent desanctioning of one of his characters, I cannot wholly deny the possibility that it's Cam related... his LJ suspension, that is. I mean, I can't see someone getting overly pissed about his stuff on Neverwhere.

So we're back to the fucking coward part. And yes, I consider whoever got his account suspended a fucking coward. If you read this, and want to respond to this, do so publicly. I no longer want or need the opinions of Anons here. If you are not willing to back up your statements with a name, then by all means, don't fucking post here. No one is required to post comments on my LJ, and Hell(tm), no one is even required to read this shit, or consider it worthy of comment. But if you do comment, don't do it anonymously.

Personally, I think what happened to Grim is absolute horseshit. I'm talking about the suspension he got from the Cam, the desanctioning of Blanque, and the loss of his LJ account. It's pretty much hand-in-hand.

If you have a problem with my statements, again, take it up with me. If anyone doesn't have the guts to do so, well, then fuck you too. I'd rather deal with people I disagree with who at least have the courage to stand up for their opinions, then people who will try and silence people who disagree with them.

ummm... not to be obnoxious, and I could be wrong, but I have issue with just one of your points:

Having a character claim oh-so-convenient multiple personalities when you have nothing on your sheet to enable it is cheating.

I don't think that *having a character* claim to have MPD is cheating... your character *pretending* to have MPD isn't cheating either...if your character has a valid reason to do so. MPD as a derrangement doesn't give you any cool bonuses that *I'm* aware of, other than the points at creation. Abilities and things still have to be on your sheet if you want to use them to bid.

Claiming that your character has MPD when they don't is cheating. Your character should be able (within reason) to claim anything.

Hell... if anyone asked my Malk if she had MPD (she doesn't) she'd probably respond, "hell yeah, I have MPD... I'm F*in' cracked as all hell... its like Pokemon... gotta catch 'em all!"

She claims on a regular basis to have disciplines that she doesn't and doesn't own up to some that she does. That's not cheating, its called my character is lying. Last time I checked, IC lying isn't cheating.

If asked out of character, I don't usually give a straight answer, whether its for real or not. What is on my character sheet is between me and the ST staff (and yes, I am in the SE region and yes, my character is up for audit as we speak. I can't imagine anything coming back weird on it b/c I am not a cheezmonkey and I follow the rules).

The rest of your comment I have no issue with. If these things happened, then yes, IMO, it is cheating. I don't have any info on the situation, and honestly don't care to

I've been going on the assumption that it was ICly a lie, but recent comments by the player lead me to believe that yes, it's the player claiming it. The bad kind of lying.

As this is being used as ammunition in other areas, it is removed. I didn't say these things to have them be spouted about. If people want to ask me questions, they can come and ask.

1) This is a public post in a public LJ. Your response was therefore public as well.

2) I can only assume that you are referring to Taser posting this on the CCR list. As Taser is my room-mate, well, he pretty much sees what I see, especially when it comes to Cam stuff and LJ stuff.

Now, I can't stop you from yanking the post; in fact, you already have. But you did put your opinion up here, as did I, in the original post. Claiming that you didn't want others to see it... well....

Sorry, that does kind of fall flat.

3) You're not (last point I checked) listed as someone on my "Friends" list. Therefore, you are making a specific effort to check my LJ. Now, please, don't take that as a "Never read my stuff again!" as it's not. If I wanted this post to be "Friends Only", I would have made it so. However, you didn't run across this post by chance.

According to the Livejournal Terms of Service, I retain all ownership of posted materials. People can bitch on the CCR list all they want, but if people want to talk to me about what I know, they can come to me now.

As for my opinion, I'll go ahead and repost it here.

Grim's violation wasn't "a couple of points." He's been a cheater for years and he finally got busted, and he's perfectly willing to publicly lie about it. I'm pretty sure he might actually even believe it.

Some people have proven time and again that open discussion with them IS NOT POSSIBLE. I have bent over backwards trying and I am heartily sick of the bullshit. There comes a point where silencing is the only option, when every avenue of discourse is exhausted and the only thing left to do with someone with an avowed willingness and relish of dealing out poison and abuse to get his way is to say "fuck you and goodbye."

There are objective standards being applied here, both in terms of game rules and Livejournal conduct. If someone can't be bothered to play by the rules, or even so much as conduct themselves like an adult, fuck 'em. He got what he deserved.

Recent rulings seem to indicate, that no... he didn't cheat.

I was on ICC Gold Team, but unfortunately, I don't get to make said rulings.

I didn't complain about his LJ, but I really do feel that the suspension was utterly reasonable.

He had his LJ suspended before for using it to attack people. LJ said 'we don't want this - don't do it'. He did it. He got suspended.

His own fault.

Cause and effect.

See, that, I didn't know. Right before I went to bed, I saw his LJ posts, and saw nothing that would realistically get him in trouble. Couple hours later, they're gone.
