Army to Call Up Retired, Discharged Troops

Now, I support the troops. They've got a bitch of a job, they are in a country where a large number of the civilians at best want them gone now, and at the worst are participating in attacks on them.

What I cannot support is this butt-nugget in office, this chowder-brained coward continuing to play soldier when he obviously doesn't have the slightest clue as to what he is doing. The troops that are being called up do not have regularly scheduled training... what the fuck? Hey, let's send more soldiers over there without the proper training. That always works! Goddamnit....

And most will most likely have served in Desert Storm...

Combat experiance very, very good, and beats war games any day of the week...

In that they are going over the records and abilities to see which ex-soldiers have 'civil affairs' experience. They are looking for engineers, military police, and yes, some infantry.

People hear half of the story, which doesn't even have all the info anyways, and demonize an act/system...

And congradulate me... My generation is having "their eyes opened" by Moore's movie...

Can I disown my generation on the grounds that they are sheep?

And Moore's movie is full of inaccuracies, misstatements and falsehoods of it's own. Moore's agenda is to tell the 'truth' to get Bush out of office.

I do appreciate the job the Armed services are doing. I do think Saddam needed to go. I don't appreciate being lied to. By either side.
