DAMN YOU ALZHEIMER'S!!!

I have forgotten the abstruse combination of commands and button mashings in order to play a DVD on my television. (No, it's not just 'insert DVD and press play'.)

No. I just can't figure out which channel/setting/whatever it's supposed to be on to play DVDs.

Getting a new DVD player would not address that, as it would hook into the same goddamned spot on the TV.

Disregard. DVD player does not work well when the cables are not plugged in, because the XBOX (which can also play DVDs, although not well) is plugged in.
