Hrm.

Is there a way to put all of your LJ pics in a post?

Yes.

Your answer was factual, complete, and accurate. It also was completely unhelpful. Perhaps have you considered a job in the customer service arena?

:P

In other words, okay smart-ass, how do I post all my LJ pics in a post?

Well, there's an LJ-specific way but I don't know what it is right off-hand. However, you can always upload them to a web server and then post <IMG height="Xpx" width="Ypx" src="URL to image" alt=" Description of Image "> once for each pic.

Like this...

Whoah important note guys, when hotlinking images like that the hosting site may have a "mod-rewrite" function to prevent it. I know this from experience, I hotlinked an image from something awful and claimed it dealt with some issues relevant to live journal community. SA reroutes all hotlinked images to show a tall, naked hermaphrodite looking down at you with giant text reading "Hi, I like to steal people's bandwidth."

THe moral of the story, make sure you know where you are hosting.

If you leave out the height and width, it will default to the size of the pic. So, if it's already 120x100, you don't have to do anything. But if you want it bigger or smaller, then you need to use height and width. Just make sure you keep the proportions correct.

Found that last one out the hard way.

You mean??

True, but specifying the height and width causes the page to render a block that size before the image loads and prevents the page from having to be re-rendered by the browser once the image completes loading. That's important for people who are still struggling with dial-up.

True. Had forgotten that. For a number of pics for work, we just made the same size (photoshop), but probably put height/width in as well... Once the pics work, you generally don't have to do anything with them again.

Now, the shopping basket, I've had to fix a few times.
