[WoW] Well, that was fun

Just finished a 25-raid on Sartharion. I was the only Rogue in the raid, but I didn't get any loot other then Emblems of Valor. I would really have liked to have won the roll on the Gauntlets of the Lost Vanquisher, but it was not meant to be. (On a roll of 1-200, I managed to get a whopping 47.)

Still, nice quick run... less then a half hour total. I might see if I can get in one of those every week.

I take you did just Sarth, not any additional drakes?

Nah, was a PUG, so we killed all the drakes first. So yeah, technically, I did get Emblems of Valor out of it.

I don't think we could have taken Sarth if we hadn't taken out the drakes first.

*nod* I found Sarth to be a pretty easy raid, 10-man or 25. Discord, my guild, used him as a great warm-up "Ra-ra!" enthusiasm event for when we were getting our 10-man Naxx runs together. Go into OS, stomp the shit out of Sarth and his drakes, then go learn Naxx for a few hours.

*nod* With the DPS the raid I was in was putting out, I'm pretty sure we could have dropped Sarth without killing one or more of the drakes, but I don't think there were more then 3 people from any one guild in the raid...

*nod* My first time in Naxx was with a 100% PUG and I think we had maybe three people at most from the same guild. It went so well people were calling it the best PUG ever.

You have had far more luck with PUGs than I EVER HAVE.

I seem to be an idiot attractor in WoW. But at least they aren't gnomes.

*nod* I have gotten very lucky with my PUGs but the Naxx run was a crapshoot; the only time I've ever run a PUG raid was a Kara run in order to get the axe from the special boss and in that case I took recomendations from friendly guilds first before trolling LFG.

However, I've had my share of headaches. Like the DW blood spec DK. I wanted to slap him. Hard.
