[City of Heroes] Well.... okay
So, I'm back into City of Heroes.
And I made a Tanker. (I'll post a pic later, honest.)
An Invulnerability/Super Strength one named Omega II. (The name Omega, of course, already having been taken.)
Already up to 13th level with him, and I have to say, it's a lot of fun playing a Tanker. Run up, hit things, take lots of damage, but (and this is important), not actually die. I still have my D3, though. I probably ought to play him a bit more... he's only 10th level.
I also have to say, I don't really understand the Invention system in City of Heroes. I mean, yes, I understand that if you find a recipe that uses a left-handed spleege and a clockwork flondorp (names completely made up), and you happen to have those components, you can make the the item the recipe is for.
Why does it charge Influence to make a recipe, though? I mean, Jesus wept, the costs on some of these creations are obscene compared to what I can actually buy right now. Now, yes, I know, an Invention recipe never gets reduced in what it does when you gain levels, but come on....
I'm not sure I understand set recipes though. Do you have to have all the recipes in a set in the same power, or if they're slotted across multiple powers will it still give you the set bonus?

Also, the game did just change ownership, and I believe that if you buy City of Heroes or City of Villains, you get the other free. (I.e. buying and installing CoH gets you CoV, and vice versa.)
