This isn't a shock

The Iraqis are officially tired of Blackwater's crapola. Their license to operate in Iraq has been revoked (so sorry, Blackwater, no more unsupervised mercenary strongarming tactics in Baghdad for you), and some of the employees there may be looking at criminal charges, assuming of course, that their asses haven't been Baby Doc'd out of there already. I mean, it's not like these mercenary assholes operate under the UCMJ, or, hell, much oversight. Hell, depending on who you ask, they're either immune to criminal charges for anything they do in Iraq (likely to be Blackwater's stance), or they're not (your typical Iraqi's stance).

Ladies and gentlemen, this is not supposed to resemble fucking Shadowrun, okay?

Yea! How DARE we use guerrilla tactics in Iraq! How are we at home supposed to be able to bitch that we are losing the war if these private fuckers run up in there, using actually effective tactics, and fuck shit up!? I mean, they're killing "civilians", well, they're all civilians since there is no Al-Qeida in Iraq, and there's no army, but we can't go letting our illegal war actually KILL people!

Never mind that these private contractors are civilians themselves, and thus do not get the medical or pay benefits of our soldiers, and yet in most cases are much better trained, and never mind once the american mercenaries are injured, they're instantly let go from their private company...

Of course, NO ONE BITCHED about Rhodesia...

The sooner everyone realizes that everything this country does is wrong and sucks, the better off we all will be. Thank God we all got over that 1940's nonsence about actually supporting troops by sending packages and undergoing voluntary rationing, not like our new modern way where we all talk right by SAYING we support them, and then not doing a goddamn thing.

I support our government, I just oppose everything they do and stand for.

Oxymoron? What did you call me!?

Riiiiight. Guerilla tactics like shooting someone because they were driving too close? Okay, that sounds more like road rage then anything tactical. Yeah, might have been a terrorist, but oops, he wasn't.

How about firing indiscriminately on civilians after a mortar attack? Or getting in armed confrontations with U.S. Armed forces and/or Iraqi police?

And, you know, they actually probably have better medical and pay benefits then the normal (read: enlisted) military schlubs. I mean, if the VA scandals mean anything.

Exactly what the hell do you think is going ON over there!? This is a war. Hate to break it to you, but people get killed, LOTS OF PEOPLE GET KILLED. Soldiers, civilians, women, children, everybody is at risk of getting killed. That's because they're in a WAR ZONE. Some people(the smart, the people with lots to live for) got the FUCK OUT because it became a WAR ZONE.

What stupid fucker drives close to some black ops SUV in the first fucking place!? I bet they didn't do it again. How do you tell the dangerous cars? It's IRAQ, all the cars are potentially DEADLY! The ones that don't have bombs in them are full of militia members, mercenaries, police, etc. etc.

It's Darwinism, the idiots who drive too close to other cars in Iraq don't grow up to breed themselves, thus, over thousands of years, the Iraqi people get smarter, because the dumb mutherfuckers all pulled up next to Blackwater vans and waved like morons.

And NO, you are incorrect. Blackwater currently has SEVERAL civil suits against it for it's unspoken policy of firing the injured operatives rather than paying for mercs who can't merc no more.

If you want to bleed profusely from the heart for civilians killed in war, Wiki the US firebombing of Dresden sometime. Or the mass execution of German and Japnese captured soldiers during WW2. I have a laundry list. Oddly, as horrible as it all is, it's still shorter the\an the list of most countries atrocities committed during war.

General Patton would smack you in yo mouf.

The ironic part of all this is one might construe from your posts that you actually give half a crap for the people of Iraq.

We both know THAT ain't true.

Hell, I BARELY give a crap about them. Just enough to want them to avoid what happened in Vietnam and Cambodia after we left.
