If you know that politicians lie, why all the outrage NOW? Why is thins shocking? Even worth notice?? This is par for the course, and should be EXPECTED from any and all American administration or congress. This is barely news. As much, I guess, as the groundbreaking genetics report that state that there might be actual biological differences between men and women, or that smoking is bad for you.
I mean honestly, the Surgeon General? If I ever meet a more useless person on the planet. My bet is 95% of americans still think Coop is the Surgeon General. He might as well be, too, he was utterly useless and a complete tool mouthpiece. He represents what the government thinks about healthcare. Who gives a flying fuck what the government thinks about healthcare!? Fix fucking Medicaid/Medicare! That's your job. Don't tell me what to smoke, or eat, or drink. You people are the same people who gave us wonderful things like OSHA, CAFE standards, legalized slavery, abolition, the Contra scandal and Elian Gonzales. You don't know anything about healthcare. I have to admit, I do have some sympathy for the root cause behind all the whining. Republicans opened the door by starting an 8 year bitch fest over Clinton, and now they're suprised that the same thing is being done to them now. Bad part is, until it becomes poison news, we're in for this for every president to come. Pandora's box of crying and wailing has been opened. Whoever wins, the opposition will know to scream irrationally over evrey single little thing that they think will paint the President as a screw-up, no matter how hard we DON'T listen.
