Finally got caught up on Heroes

1) Isaac was a dumbass. Why not paint the way to stop Sylar, and then run for the hills?

2) Ted, Parkman, and Bennet are going to NYC to destroy the "tracking system", but won't that tracking system be able to tell the folks back at Primatech where they are up until then? "Gosh, it looks like they're heading to our secret base where we coordinate tracking these genetic freaks. Might want to buff up security a bit."

3) If Bennet was supposed to hand over Claire at the first sign she had any powers, what about Hiro? His father seems to be in the upper echelon of the Primatech organization. Is he (Hiro's dad) one of the people Linderman was referring to? If so, what's his power?

4) How bad is the ass-beating that Niki lays on Linderman's organization going to be?

I am convinced that the "Tracking System" is someone with a power.
Isaac may have seen that he needed to die in order to stop Sylar, I am guessing that the notebook will fill in more of that.

What convinces you thusly about about the tracking system?

There was a blurb about H.R.G and company discovering the truth about the tracking system.

My theory is that the tracking system is a person who uses the DNA extracted from the folks that have been tagged to do some sort of remote viewing.

Also the company seems to default to using people with abilities as opposed to lots of high tech gadgets.

Yeah, I figure Niki will start hurling Linderman's security guards across the casino floor... and between her doing that and D.L. phasing through the walls/floor/ceiling looking for Micah, it should be the first major public use of any Hero's abilities. (Ted blowing up Bennet's house notwithstanding.)

The thing is, the little scars on Parkman, Ted, and others are from a device that injects a tracking chip or RFID tag, right? (I'm going off of memory here.)

Let's say that's the case... "Detect RFID tag in humans" seems to be a remarkably lame power. Although, if it is a power, presumably, the user can narrow their 'scan' to a specific radio frequency, otherwise, they would be drowned out by the vast number of RFID tags floating around on various items.

It can't be as simple as someone with the power to detect other powers, because otherwise, Claude would never have evaded detection by the Primatech organization for so long, and they wouldn't have had so much trouble finding Sylar.

On the other hand, they obviously do have some method of locating people with powers. They found Nathan Petrelli pretty easily, although given his mother's ties to the Primatech Organization/Linderman, they might have known he had the potential the whole time. But they also found Parkman pretty quickly (albeit after his powers manifested), so at the very least, they have an extensive information-gathering network.

I can only imagine the number of false-positives they would get....
