Made 67th level, did a few more quests past that, and I'm at just over 20% of the way to 68. Currently at 1700 gold.

I did manage to get in with a group to do a nice chain of quests that netted me a [Ceremonial Warmaul Blood-blade]. Oddly enough, that's my off-hand weapon, but I'll still probably be using it at 70. At least for a little while. I'll probably assemble the components to [Dirge] at some point (well, except for the Primal Nether which is BOP) and pay a stack of cash to get it made.

Honestly, do you do anything with your time off other than play WoW?

Yeah, I watch DVDs and read. Dude, It's exceptionally easy to level from 60 to 70, and gold is almost an inconsequential side-effect. A couple quests I did today netted me 4-6 gold as a reward and then I sold the items from the quests for another 20-30 gold (not apiece, total). Plus, I'm not bothering to level up my Engineering skill so I sell all the Fel Iron, Adamanatite, Eternium and the rare bit of Khorium I've gotten.

There are also repeatable quests that give me small amounts of cash which doesn't include the cash I get for farming the mobs that give me the quest items. (Ogres, by the way, carry nice amounts of cash on them.)

For what it's worth, I actually got to 67th level two days ago. I didn't really play at all on Sunday, just logged in to check a couple auctions, and only for a couple hours today.
