What boiled out onto the bottom of the microwave was remarkably paste-like in difficulty to clean up, yes...

What happened is I that as I typed in the time I wanted ( 1 minute, 10 seconds), the 0 key double-pressed and I didn't notice. I didn't even look at the display...
Heck, I caught it after three minutes when I heard it still running.
