Sorry man, but I honestly tried WoW, I really did...
So a coupla weeks ago I spent 2 days downloading and patching. I got all ready to play, logged in. Sloooowly. Then it told me to select a server, and recommended some "new" ones. Tried a few "new" servers. Server full, 20 minute wait time. Deleted WoW, went back to playing Ryzom.
Funny story, earlier in the week I crashed part way thru playing due to a corrupted file. The file recovery program on Ryzom is pretty good, but I figured its about time I reinstalled it anyway. So on wednesday I downloaded the game again. Took about 3 hours for 1.9gb installer, about 20 minutes for the patches (which cant be shared over bittorrent sadly, unlike the installer).
Sorry but I gotta say, WoW players do it to themselves, there are other options!

Haven't logged into WoW in over a month and see no real reason to do so until Burning Crusade.
And a large part of that will depend on how the Vangard Beta goes.
