So I had a headache when I went to work last night

Took the last of my Tylenol before work, but it merely attenuated the headache, not removed it. After work, bought more Tylenol (they had no extra stength, fuck you up and make you loopy Excedrin), took some. Headache went away, eventually. Took a couple hours.

When I got up, about forty minutes ago, the headache was back, and it had brought friends. Took even more Tylenol. From the same bottle I used this morning. The headache went away in minutes. Literally melted away.

I wish it worked like that all the time.

Anyway, five more work days before vacation.

I wonder if your diet, or lack thereof, has anyting to do with your headaches.

I really doubt it. If my diet was the major factor, I would have headaches all the time. I don't. I maybe have one killer headache every couple weeks. I go through Tylenol so quickly because of other minor aches and pains...

Even with that level of frequency, I would start to seriously think of checking in with a doctor, preferably an Internal Medicine specialist.

It is abnormal. Normal people do not have headaches that freuently. It very well could be a symptom of something gone awry inside you.

But, this is just a suggestion. I told your brother the same thing. (Actually, Bunnygirl got on his case about his headaches all the time. That was his real motivation.)

Yeah, 'cause you aren't really able to motivate me to do anything.

[livejournal.com profile] bunniegrrl or [livejournal.com profile] ladydagger2evil could probably get me to do anything. Hells, it was your wife who got my butt over there to help you with yardwork. Of course, that will teach me to answer any of her questions without thinking about the answer first.

Bloody no edit on comments....

A headache maybe once every couple weeks is abnormal? And that might be overstating it. If it's a mild headache, it typically goes away on it's own, with me not even taking anything for it. It's the killer headaches that I take the Tylenol or extra-strength Excedrin for. Those happen maybe once a month or even less frequently. It's just that the last couple that I remember have been really bad ones.

Huh... I've been like that for years. Here's the thing. I work nights. On the nights/days that I typically get headaches, it it either one of my nights off, where my sleep schedule is vastly different then normal so I can watch certain TV shows, or it's the night before my days off (Saturday night). Plus, it's not like this last week wasn't without some bonus stress.

The only other times that I pop Tylenol like candy is when my knees or my ankles are really bothering me. I'm on my feet for 8+ hours a day, so it's not a surprise that some days, I need to take a Tylenol for it.

Now, what really fucked me up was Tylenol PM. I bought a bottle of that by mistake, and it fucked me up. Big time. Drowsiness, mild hallucinations when I stayed awake, and I'm pretty sure it's responsible for me passing out in my bathroom a month ago. I have not touched that stuff since then.

Diet-wise, I'm actually eating a lot healthier then I used to. Okay, comparitively, it's still not that healthy, but I'm not living off of microwave burritos any more.
