what fun...
One of our co-workers at the store up and quit yesterday. No notice, just walked out. Hence, I get to go in early tonight... isn't that fun? (Well, I should also be leaving early because of the new kick for as close to zero overtime as possible...)
About the only good thing that comes out of this (cause the guy who left was a pretty decent sort, other then walking out) was that I might get his job. More pay, better hours.... I'd say maybe a 30% chance I'll end up with his ex-position.
Update: Well, one of the assistant managers as much as admitted that we'll be hiring another 3rd shift person ASAP, and my schedule is changing... sorta... three days a week, I work from 5 pm to 1 am, and then work 11 pm to 7 am on the other two days I work. Bleh. We'll see what happens.
