He's supposed to have been identified by fingerprints and scars. What's interesting is that several of his aides were killed in the same attack. Depending on how important they were, it could mean a big blow to the leadership of the Iraqi Al-Qaeda.

Of course, considering that suicide bombers struck again today as well, it's still going to be a while before this shit is over. If it's ever over. (I'm willing to bet once all the U.S. troops are out of Iraq, we won't see nearly as much mainstream news on it.)
