Ed Wood may have been a shitty director, working with a terrible script, and poor special effects, but at least he had a decent camera, sound equipment, and slightly more than a shoestring budget.
Oh, it's still a bad movie. They're both bad movies. It's just a matter of degree. After all, the MST3K mad scientists never apologized for showing Plan 9.
